Grapefruit juice shouldn't be taken while taking a statin drug. What about apple cider vinegar?
Not really an answer but a repeat of the same question.
In the past I have taken cider vinegar with lime juice and it reduced my cholesterol and got rid of my indigestion/reflux but seemed to aggravate my poly arthritis. Lately I have been taking cinnamon and raw honey and then read about the addition of cider vinegar and started it again. So far no affect on the poly arthritis, but I wonder if the cider vinegar reacts with the statins, if taken after the statins. To counter possible effects I will try taking it an hour or so before the statins. Perhaps the cider vinegar will have been neutralised in the intervening hour or so. Allegedly the honey (raw) and cinnamon is a cleanser and the cider vinegar adds to the effects, and claims to have a weight loss benefit, yet to be experienced.
