Milk production is not related with hysterectomy. It is related with the production of hormone called prolactin. This hormone is produced by anterior pituitary gland. Its normal levels are 5-20. Levels more than 20 can cause milk production in any lady either she is feeding a baby or not. So, if you are having milk production then hysterectomy can not be blamed. Discuss with your doctor about use prolactin inhibitors to stop milk production.
I had a tracery 9 years ago. My boyfriend sucks milk out of my breasts.is that normal due to hormone change.they don't leak, nor do they not hurt..
I had 2 children which I breast feed both. My first up to 4 months and my second up to 1 year I had a partial hysterectomy 4 years ago and I am looking at adoption and I would very like to have that bond with this child and breast feed this child. Is there anything that I can buy that is all nature in herbs that would help me product breast milk or would I have to go to my doctor and get hormones, and would that even work?
