It could be a lot of things, depending on your age and health.

You should see your doctor right away; depending on their level of expertise, they may refer you on to a specialist (gynecologist) or they may be able to diagnose what's going on.

An average period usually lasts 5 - 7 days. One that won't stop could be caused by infection, hormonal imbalance, fibroids, endometriosis....you must consult a medical professional to find out what's going on.

hello i am a 47 year old i started my period in the 13 of october im not on any birth control i have my tubes tied and only got one overy  i didnt have a period last month. Also i have had a bad asthmatic cough which the Doctor have given me a ten day course of antibiotic i have finish i did clean a house and it had mold in it since i have Had this cough i have been given pills for hayfever  and nose sprays also i have got high blood pressure both number are in the hundreds and this has only started from cleaning this house,I only get asthma when i can a colds this is not a cold i have been asking for a chest xray as they say my chest is clear when they listen to it but i know its not im also having trouble breathing cause of the coughing which also making me spew but my bleeding comes with clots and some times stomach cramps a lot is going on and im getting very tied of this
