It is not necessary that every woman gets sore nipples during pregnancy. Usually, this soreness is expected after 4-6 weeks of the pregnancy. Major reason of this condition is high levels of hormones especially progesterone. This condition also occurs before start of of periods due to high levels of progesterone and misleads for pregnancy.
