Having tender or sore breasts is not necessarily a sign that the woman is pregnant, there are other, perhaps more likely reasons, why this would occur. If you
are concerned about the possibility of pregnancy, perhaps because of other symptoms then the best thing to do is to take a test and find out.

Many women find that their breasts become sore leading up to or during their menstrual period and this is something that can happen when you first get your period or it can be something that develops later. Breast soreness can also be caused by wearing an ill-fitting bra so make sure that you have been measured up correctly and that you regularly get measured again to avoid changes being missed. While the breasts are growing and hormonal changes are taking place, soreness is quite common. Anyway, so pregnancy shouldn't be the first thing you think of. It is unlikely to be a sign of cancer or some sort of cyst and if you don't have a lump to go along with the
tenderness then this is almost definitely not the reason. Of course, if you are in pain then you should probably see your doctor to make sure that there are no issues.

No it doesn't hun. My breasts were very sore recently and I was begining to conside that I may be pregnant, however, I came on my period a week later. Sore, tender breasts can occur when due on your period or growth depending on how old you are. :)

Sore breasts do not indicate pregnancy at all. The most plausible reason would be a sign of your period to come shortly or your breasts growing. Do not get worried about being pregnant it is highly unlikely

It could def. Be a sign that you are pregnant or it could mean your period is getting close. I read a little further down and it says that you already had your period for this month. You may still get another period this month if its been long enough. Some women do have periods twice a month. Sucks, but can happen.

I've got myself a FEW pregnancies under my belt, ad to tell you the truth, breast soreness doesn't happen instantly. Your breasts will grow during the gestation, of course, however they're not out & out PAINFUL...not until your milk comes in & you're in the start of the breastfeeding experience! Ouch!! Even then, the breasts will level out how much milk being produced, your nipples will become used to their job, and the pain goes away. So if you're wondering if you're freshly pregnant due to breast discomfort (I do realize that people may be more sensitive to pain than others, but slightly swollen breasts are not painful, as you'll realize when the painful phase is upon you & your breasts soon enough), don't. You'll miss your period before you're able to say your boobs hurt. Keep in mind that you're breasts will swell early on, as soon as the first couple of weeks of pregnancy.

No, there are many things that can make them sore, fibroids, that time of the month coming, swelling, stuff like this, if you feel you might be pregnant, I suggest you go and see your doctor. Hope this helps, good luck to you.

Usually that happens to girls during puberty. When your breast are starting to grow they will hurt and feel sore. After that if they get hit my anything they will also feel sore. When I was young I iced them ( which made them not be sore) but I don't recommend it because it hurts while your icing them. Hopefully this helped!
