Why Do Teenagers Get Pregnant In A Early Age?

Some young girls want to get pregnant because it may be a form of acceptance in a social group. Some may think having a baby will make them seem older and more mature then others. Some may have wanted to experiment with sex and ended up becoming pregnant because they didn't use protection, in some cases the condom breaks or the contraceptive fails. Some girls have a void in there lives and think a baby will fill it for them. Some act out in a rebellious form to get back at another person. Some are even the unfortunate victims of rape and maybe can't afford an alternative matter or wouldn't even think of it. Judging by my knowledge, most young girls get pregnant from having unprotected sex. Believe it or not, they will even purposely get pregnant to try to keep a boyfriend or partner around.

Maybe,they feel they are ready for unprotected sex...but no one is.That teen may feel they want a child but can not accept the consequences....teens can die at abortions and even birth ....AIDS....HIV....STDS...can also flow in these bodies..that is just what happens when you think you are ready but you're really not.....teens are just not old enough to take care of a child....first,they have to get a job for many needs ,and second,they need to stay in school.....

Because their parent's don't pay any attention to them or tell them exactly how it is. Most people I know sugarcoat everything to "protect" their children but I think it hurts them more. They need the truth to decide whether they can deal with the consequences or not.

They involve themselves in sexual activity at an early age. This should not be practiced because the body is not fully prepared for a baby even at 16. It is best to start a family at least by 18 or older.

Why do some teenagers choose to get pregnant at a young age even though they know they don't have the resources to support a child?

Because their hormones are raging, and they aren't smart enough to understand how unprotected sex can bring them troubles they never even knew existed. It has been ever thus.

Cause most teens especially young ones don't know the consequences of unprotected sex. Or they think "this wont happen to me" and then they get pregnant.
