You need to take it 5 days before your period is due and you can take the tablets for upto 7 days. Taking more than 7 tablets can increase the risk of hormonal imbalance.
E.g if your periods are due on 6th February, you need to start taking tablet from 1st feb and stop it on 6th. Your period wil extend upto 12th feb. (you need to take one tablet every night before going to bed).
In simple words, the number of tablets you take, the number of days your periods wil go further.
