Period blood is brown, almost black?

Brown discharge is old blood from the uterus. Brown discharge could be a sign of implantation bleeding (which would happen a week or so before your period and would mean that you are pregnant, but then again would proabably start out pink then brown), but in most cases it is a normal act of your uterus cleaning itself out at the end or in the middle of your cycle.

I think that means when your period is almost over.
