How can you motivate yourself to start losing weight and not make any excuses but just suddenly start it. And most of all, how do I not get worried about it?

I don't know if this applies to everyone, but I think the easiest way to stay healthy is also the most boring: Routine.

If you get into the habit of doing some exercise as soon as you wake up in the morning and right before you go to bed, it will become a natural part of your routine. And if you allocate specific times for going to the gym, the same will apply.

Yes, the it'll be hard to stay motivated at first, but once you start repeating it every day for a few weeks, you'll soon start to feel weird when you don't do those things.

Being methodical with what you eat can also help.

Most of us don't go out in search of unhealthy food to eat. Instead, we "find ourselves" in the situation where it is an easy option.

For example, if you have to put together a quick bite to eat at the last minute, you are less likely to worry about what you're eating - or you may even opt for a takeaway or fast food delivery.

If, at the beginning of the week, you prepare a list of 21 meals that you plan to eat - and then do shopping that will cover those meals. You'll be able to stick to a healthy diet much more easily because you won't have the option or temptation to stray.

Same goes for snacking. If you take into account that you may need a snack now and then, you can prepare a selection of healthy options (dried fruits, nuts, fresh fruit) - rather than relying on grabbing a quick donut on the way to work or a chocolate bar on your lunch break - you can whip out a healthier alternative.

Finally, a powerful motivator is doing a diet with a friend. Going to the gym together, food shopping together, having meals together... This way, if one of you slips up, the other will be there to make them feel guilty :)

Well Im doing that right now when I was a junior in highschool I started working and with having no time to do anything I began to gain weight. I went from 170 to 315 in a year. Last year I went from 315 to 230 and now im getting ready to to try and get to 160. I dont give myself time goals. So no 20lbs in a month I give myself real goals. Walk an extra mile, try to do half of a marathon, learn to swim, always trying something new that doesnt cost much. Make a fruit smoothie at home and go out for a walk in a cool neighborhood thats near you but youve never been to and walk around with friends. I didnt really have much time to work out so I walked alot, wherever I needed to go I walked. If I got way too tired to where it was uncomfortable Id walk another block and remember the next day Id do an extra block. If you ease into it it eventually becomes second nature. Also dont deprive yourself. Learn to make the foods you love but in a healthier way. If you love pizza make a whole weat pizza with a little bit of marina sauce and some mozzarella and spinach then add some baked zucchini fries on the side. It taste awesome and you get fillex up. Eat fruit when you want sweets, I have a major sweet tooth so I brought a popsicle mold from walmart for like 3bucks and Id mix mango chunks with pineapple juice and freeze it or id blend strawberries and mix chunks into it freeze it and then dip it in dark chocolate, even frozen bananas dipped in dark chocolate. I also put 4 nails on my wall spaced apart. I hung up three hangers with my jeans layed out and connected. Then I brought an outfit I really wanted to wear and put it up on the fourth hanger. What Id be if i failed myself what I could be if i worked hard for me. I put it on the wall next to my bed so Id wake up every morning and see it and I could see it in my mirror so it haunted me when i got ready too lol. Just do what works take it slow dont give yourself time limits give yourself real goals. And remember its for you for your happiness and your life. Good luck!!
