I've had my period over a year already. After every heavy period my panties get dirty (I use pads). If i notice at home I wash them, but the blood doesn't go after a few hours. My mum wont allow me to use tampons. What should i do?

Well I've heard tampons can give you some kind of syndrome. At least that's what my mom says so she won't let me use it. I know how you feel. Maybe you should buy bigger pads and wear firmer panties? At least that's what I do when I have heavy flow and I find that even if my panties get dirty, it's only a little bit. Make sure you wash your panties with cold water. Warm water can make in set in(that's what I've heard). You can even try to soaking it in soapy water. Then afterward wash it out.
