I hear ya!

If you are feeling ill effects, you need to look at your caffeine intake.

I used to be fine.  About a year ago, I noticed the same thing.  I find that if I stop around 2:00 P.M., I sleep fine.  You may want to experiment with what your optimal "quit time" is.  I saw a study about how we metabolize caffeine.  It recommended 2:00 P.M., and worked great for me.

Pleasant dreams!  😴💤

I know lately if I drink coffee after 4 I stay up all night. I enjoyed sleeping last night but I think I had a caffeine withdrawal and my head felt heavy all day. I guess I might just drink a tiny cup in the mornings, that's all. I need to get healthy because I have been like this for months.

I'm still fine in the morning with a cup or two. I can't give it up completely. I love coffee!!! The smell of the pot brewing is the BEST way to wake up!

That is true but since my cortisol is elevated then I guess one cup a day is better for me.

Drinking caffeine-containing beverages, such as coffee, tea or colas, can overstimulate a person and prevent sleep, even for some who limit their intake of these to the early part of the day. Avoid drinking caffeine at night.
