How Long Will My Braces Hurt For?

They will hurt when you first get them on, when you get you wire changed, and when you have to wear rubber bands.(for most people anyway)

Yes. I know what you mean. I also wore braces for a long time. I first put braces on three years ago. I remember the pain... It was for one week. Then I got used to having foreign metal in my mouth and got used to it. To be honest, now I am very happy that I have been wearing braces all this time, because my teeth have become very even. For me, the biggest disadvantage of braces is not the pain, but the fact that pieces of food get stuck between the teeth.

It is really awesome there are new braces but not with the wire they are like a mouth guard but completly transparent!
