Jupiter's physical mass is 1.8986×1027 kg which is approximately 317.8 times the mass of the Earth. The planet is the biggest one among the Jovian giant planets and is primarily composed of gases and hence it is known as the gas giant with a small hydrogen core. It is similar in it's composition to the other Jovian gas giant Saturn and has a faint ring that is normally not visible to the naked eye. It has a strong magnetic field that extends as far as the Saturn's outer rings.
