For I would say the first 9 days after the surgery, sex is the last thing on your mind. You are in far too much pain! Wait until you are feeling up for it.

I am experiencing this right now.

I would wait the full two weeks before doing any activity that increases your blood pressure. Any elevation in your blood pressure puts you at risk for hemorrhaging. I'd say hang in there for a bit.

Having a tonsillectomy doesn't have anything to do with having sex. It is all in the matter if you feel well enough to di it.
