You should be opiate free for 24 hours and be in full withdrawal before starting Suboxone.

i would wait as long as possible try to make it to the 24 hour point

When you feel withdrawl symptoms you should be good to take it but if your a really heavy user I would wait longer so the sub has less of a chance of making you feel even worse
