Yes stupid. You can actually die. Why would you burn plastic anyway? Got to be from the midwest or deep south or something right? Lemme guess. You're too far away in the middle of nowhere for the garbage men to come get your trash so you live in it. But Daddy's been  burning PVC pipes in the back yard and it makes you feel funny?
