You could stay like that for weeks. I have been 2-3, 75% and +2 for 2 weeks now. Still no baby. Good luck hun.

I am 4 1/2 centimeters dilated, 80% effaced 36 weeks pregnant and have been like this for 2 weeks,it feels like forever.Hopefully he comes soon!
You are actually in labor now you just don't realize it. When the Dr. Can feel the baby's head that means one, the baby is almost in the birth canal or two the baby is locked in position and now it is just a matter of time. You should be a new mom by tomorrow night or very early the next morning.
I am 3 centimeters dilated and about 70% effaced...my cervix is soft. I have been this way for 2 days and I still have not gone into labor.
