No. It's a sign of your rising hormones, most likely from pregnancy and also during ovulation. If it's one side and not the other or (maybe both) and the pain becomes to a level of great concern I would contact your doctor to have a mamogram or breast exam. Sometimes pain the nipples can be a sign of cancer, harmless lumps that need removed or problems with lactation during pregnancy. If you are pregnant I wouldn't worry to much about it. Some woman have horribly sore nipples where it hurts like the dickens to have ANYTHING slightly touch or rub across them. For me, they just plan ached off and on all the time.
