It is possible to take Benadryl and Percocet (Oxycodone) together, yet with all drug combinations, it is definitely not recommended you do so, unless circumstances dictate that both need to be taking at the same time.

  • Side effects
Both Benadryl and Oxycodone are listed with drowsiness as a side effect from their use. Therefore a possible symptom of combining the two could be increased drowsiness. So make sure you aren't doing anything that requires intense concentration when taking both medication.

It is recommended that, when taking two medications together, you thoroughly  check the side effects. If they have the same side effect, you must check with your doctor that it is OK to take them.

It is best to take them separately to test the reaction between the two before trying to take them together, as the common side effect may have a different effect as described. People react in different ways to different medication, so you cannot assume that taking the two medications together will have a certain effect.

  • Consult your doctor
Upon eating food whilst taking the two medications, there should be no reaction. However, you should always consult with your doctor or pharmacist once they have prescribed the drugs. It is highly recommended not to drink alcohol while taking any form of drug. There may be adverse side effects from doing so, and therefore you should not drink alcohol to minimize the risk of any unexpected reactions of the drugs.

Useful information about any interactions of severe side effects when combining certain drugs and prescriptions can be found on the drug interactions page of drugs.com
