Late period doesn't mean that you are pregnant. Your period can be late because of some hormonal change, medication, stress, over exercise etc. If you have taken two blood pregnancy tests then I don't think you are pregnant.
You didn't tell if you had HPT or blood test. If you have taken HPT then it is possible that tests might be wrong. Always take blood pregnancy test.
On the other hand you may be a victim of hormonal imbalance. There are lot of reasons for irregular periods. Stress, nutrition and medication are the main contributors in most of the cases.
You should see your doctor for complete check up and act upon your doctor's advice.

I would wait a week longer to test but also if its burning when you pass water you may have cystitis you need to drink more water, cranberry juice for this if it doesn't help the pharmacy may help with medication but do mention you may be pregnant they can as well pregnant test if you supply a urine sample
You ovulate 12-14 days after the first day of your period so I would wait 12-14 days after realizing that your late to take a preg test.
I'm 8 days late too and I'm scared, could it be because I have taken the morning after pill twice this month? O_O
Well, the symptoms you are experiencing might be a result of a coming periods. If you are 8 days late, it doesn't signify that you are pregnant. This is because in a normal period cycle a delay of even 20 days is normal. However, there is also a possibility that your tests have not shown the right results as home pregnancy tests at such early stage can give false results. I would advise you to take a professional pregnancy test in order to confirm.
Take another pregnancy test.
