Hudrocodone is a semi synthetic opioid and belongs to group of medicines called narcotic analgesics. This drug can affect unborn during pregnancy and also infants through breast feeding. Although short term use of hydrocodone in lactating mothers is safe but there is no sufficient data available which prove safety during lactation. It can stay in your system for 1-6 days, so, you can start breast feeding after one week of discontinuation of the hydrocodone.
