Periods before 22 days gap indicate some underlying causes. You got your periods after 7 days gap, if your periods were with full flow and lasted for few days then the condition is called polymenorrhea. If you got just spotting or light bleeding for one day then it can be ovulation bleeding which is considered to be normal. Polymenorrhea can be due to hormonal imbalance, frequent ovulation, pelvic inflammatory disease, malnutrition, depression, anxiety and other psychological problems. This condition requires doctor visit for treatment.
