Teenagers can exercise practically every day but in case of heavy exercise, four times a week would be fine. The reason to exercise at this age is to remain active throughout. You can do any kind of rigorous aerobic exercises or could involve any kind of sport activity. In case of using weight, machines or any body weight increase it is best recommended you do it under the guidance of a senior.

In the initial weeks of exercising you can do any kind of light weights like push ups pull ups, etc. completely avoid doing weight training every day. Stretch every muscle before you began any kind of exercise. Take a break of at least 5 to 10 minutes between every session.

And most important, do not get addicted to video games or any kind of computer games, which only get you sitting at home all day long.
