Abortions are sometimes necessary in case of rape, incest or unwanted/accidental pregnancy. Untimely children or having children too early in life can hold you back socially and economically. However, the best thing is to use a good birth control method so you don't get pregnant and need an abortion in the end - like pills, vaginal ring, shots, patch, Implanon implants and IUD. Other methods are good but not as good as hormonal ones. And latex condoms are the best for avoiding STDs (#1 is abstinence).
