Pregnancy elicits different reactions in each woman and that is why different women have different feelings in their stomach.

One of the main reactions in the stomach is discomfort, caused by the expanding tummy, which causes their clothes to be a little tight. The women may also feel bloated and have increased waistline sensitivity, which may make them feel sick when anything touches the waistline.

Most of the time, these reactions of the stomach are not easily noticeable during the early stages of pregnancy, but as they progress, they will start noticing the difference. Some women  have reported that they feel cramps similar to those felt on their periods, while others, especially slim women, noticed a hard spot right under their bellies.

During the 16th to the 19th week of pregnancy, the baby will start kicking and you will easily notice it, as it is accompanied by a feeling similar to that of butterflies fluttering in your belly. As it progresses and the baby gets bigger, the kicks will be harder and the baby will start moving, which may be a bit uncomfortable.

Most women feel bloated and full of gas, with the skin of their stomach feeling as if it is being stretched and at other times, they feel normal. Others also state that the skin on the stomachs feel itchy while some do not feel anything until the baby starts moving inside their tummy.

From the facts above, it is easy to conclude that the way a pregnant woman feels depends on their bodies, thus resulting in different effects, ranging from a queasy feeling to a hard and full tummy. It will also depend with the stage of the pregnancy since the size of the baby will also have impact on the reaction that you will feel when you are pregnant.

My stomach is bubbling like something is kicking me, and I get light sharp pains around my navel, I thought it was gas so I took something for the gas, and I'm still having the same feelings and when I lay down I feel the movement more and it start to feel heavy when I sit or stand. I never had kids before so I really don't know what it is.

Well  first off only you know your body better then anyone else so when you start having the similar symptom you guys are having its best to get blood work done because sometimes urine does not have hormones in it which can cause your pregnancy test to be misread ...I have most of these symptoms soreness in the breast ,a swollen stomach even feel sick ,and I use the restroom a lot and sleep most of the time but I'm not pregnant sometimes the body is experiencing a little change to it but good luck you guys may everything workout in your favor

It just feels heavy and you get tired a lot. But during the first few months you'll just feel fine. When you're around the 7th-9th month, the baby starts to kick and sometimes you'll be surprised but the kicking of the baby doesn't hurt. You'll just feel really heavy though.

It feels yucky most mornings, but each pregnancy is different. Some never have a problem; then there are others who suffer a great deal. Queasiness is usual the first sign, unless you're very nervous about being pregnant. That could make you have the symptoms of pregnancy. Check with your doctor or take a test up to a few days before you are ready to have your next period. Also, some smells will affect you and make you feel worse just by its smell.
