Can You Inject Liquid Methadone?

I 2 go to a Methadone Clinic Daily, I started out on Vics then my Dr from Pain clinic moved me 2 Percs then up to 10mg percs then Oxys I was taking two 10mg percs every 4 hrs and one 40mg Oxy every 12hrs after 1 yr on these and 2 yrs on pills total I became Dependent and then after my back was fixed threw surgery He took me off the Scripts I told him I became dependent cause of the time on em n asked for suboxen  or something 4 withdrawl n he wouldnt so I got pills off street for a few months then ending up with my friends offering tried Dope ending up shooting it for over a year then after realizing how it had changed my life for the worst n was destroying everything around me I decided to grow some balls and n get my life 2gether and straightend out and get clean so Like I said I go to clinic I am completely clean jus the Methadone and 2 any1 thinking of shooting it no matter the color or if it liquid or pills I say don't do it . It is meant to help you with withdrawl an cravings not 2 b abused so they make it so you can't abuse it or if you do its very unpleasent my friend tried snorting pills n said it burned so bad n was the nastiest thing he every put up his nose he never do it again so shooting any form of it I would think would b bad either not working as good or not at all or making you very ill or doing something to your veins .

Think about it you think they would allow some1 who was addicted to heroine and injected it to get to take home liquid methadone if it was easy to inject and worked fine and had no negative side effects .. I doubt it yea your trying to stay clean but they know you still get cravings and some people jus get cravings to put a needle in there arm . My 1 buddy before he got clean did that he would shoot anything that got you high mainly dope but anything jus cause of the feeling n satisfaction he got from using a needle so if it was good an safe an everything you hope I think it b a lot harder for a person to get take homes .. I think 1 of the reasons we r able to get take homes is because they know Methadone is made to only b taken orally ..
So buddy I'm not lecturing you .. I been there ive done many drugs n some stupid things but methadone is to b taken orally and is meant to help you stay off opiates .. Don't shoot it . Listen to the guy that is now addicted to shooting it he said for him to take it orally n do anything for him he has to take over 2x what he use to take because of him shooting it so don't buddy you will only have a major problem to deal with if shooting it doesnt make you very sick or damage your veins. B smart and only take it the way it was meant to b taken ok..

I have been on a methadone script now for 9 years and I don't think you should inject it at all.  I have been injecting mine the whole time, I have been hospitalised twice with endocarditis and once with mrsa from injecting my linctus!!!!!  I did stop for a while but last year started again and now I think I might have endocarditis again, I feel awful, I've lost loads of weight, my tolerance is screwed, I only get 40mls a day from the clinic and I have to buy the rest from other users, I'm shooting up 200 mils a day!!!! I can't even let the clinic know because they will take my script off me. Don't DO IT!!! Please.....There are some pretty nasty things that can go wrong.

Yes, you could. But you shouldnt. Krystald30 is right. Ive tried it (hey, Ive done a lot of stupid things) but all it did was make me taste the cherry flavor in my mouth. It is best effective ingested, not injected.

Sorry I forgot to answer your question. You probably already figured this out, but the only liquid methadone that should be injected is the actual injectable methadone. But, as far as the methadone 'syrups,' the only one semi-safe to inject is the clear stuff. Most clinics give flavored (and NASTY flavors they are) methadone syrups and those have too much junk in  them to inject. And like the people below mentioned, (even with the clear syrup) injecting methadone syrups will not give you ANY sort of a buzz. You may feel nauseous, and you won't even get the effects you would normally get swallowing it. So, bad idea.
If you're on methadone through a clinic, then you should be there to get clean off of other things, as well as get away from using needles. I'm not going to preach to you, because I was trying to inject xanax a month ago when I found a brand new ten pack of syringes from four years ago I didn't know I had. I completely understand your yearning to get high off of something, but, if you're attending a methadone clinic and doing it for the right reasons, you've got to use it to get away from your destructive habits. Of course it will get you high and you can get high with a much lower doesage. For someone taking methadone daily to get off of other drugs it wont get you high anyway, whether you take it orally or intraveinously, that may be why every1 says it wont do anything.

Yes you can shoot liquid methadone but there is one thing that I have to say that all these other people have not... It can hurt you but it does have a good rush if you do it right although I don't think that it lasts as long.
If you were going to just take the liquid methadone and suck it all up in a gigantic syringe then you would feel it but not much, for the bigger rush boil it down on the stove in a pan.
Set the temp at a few notches below medium and let it boil out some of that water.
Blow on it periodically when it starts to cook around the edges to cool it down.
If it dries around the edges while its shrinking down add water.
When it's to the desired size, add a cotton to filter out dust particles and such.
If you have a good vein then once it gets to a size that will fit in your size syringe then your pretty much ready to go, other wise I suggest using a 3cc syringe and going in your groin (femoral vein) but only if you know what your doing.

I do not suggest doing this, especially shooting up in your groin!!!!! Although if your going to do it then you should know what to do.

Well I have done the cherry methadone I V for a couple of years and yes I think you feel it faster but now I can't take it by mouth because my dose is not near enough I take a 120 mg a day but if I don't shoot it I have to take at least 275 mg just not to be sick an also I have no veins left  well lets just say if you  are shooting it an can stop please do an to those that have never started please god don't start it better just to drink it or eat them  I wish I would have never tried it iam having the hardest time to stop using it IV  to those that are shooting it good luck quitting

Methadone is not meant to be injected. I guess you could, but it's not going to get you high.. That's not what it's for. Just b/c you shoot something doesn't mean you're going to get high.. If that's what you're looking to do. Methadone is meant to be taken orally to prevent withdrawal symptoms from opiate withdrawal.

Ive been injecting done for years,it sure as hell gets me smashed.I'm in Australia,no tang,no flavours mixed at all,The only difference is it doesnt last as long as if you drink it,but I definitely get stoned.

If it's liquid, you can inject it....

I would only inject the clear liquid methadone. It is almost like water, without all the sugary crap. It gets you high quick, but not more intensely. If it has juice or tang in it, I wouldnt do it.

I just did it and trust me it sucks I'm kinda pissed because I didnt get high so no don't do it, the pills don't work ether so... Have fun....

Because a 1ml syringe is only 10 mgss, but get a 10 ml rig and use 100 mgs and ull have a 10 min rush from hell. Oya and I'm shooting the cherry lol I'm dead serious too... Ive done it prolly 2o times and it hasnt affected me yet,,,

Yes if you add a little water but it will not do anything 4 you so it is a waste
