THERE IS NO WEIGHT LIMIT FOR YOU TO HAVE YOUR PERIOD
YOU COULD BE 100 POUNDS TO 500 POUNDS AND STILL HAVE A PERIOD ..YES, GIRLS PERIODS START AROUND THE AGE BETWEEN 9 AND , 10, 11, 12, 13 ..IF YOU HAVE NO PERIOD BY AGE 18 THEN YOU SHOULD SEE A DOCTOR.

Girls usually have to reach about 100 lbs to get their period, it's true.  This is recognized by medical science.  That's because there needs to be a certain percentage of body fat in order for menstruation to occur.  The average age is 12 to 13, although it has been dropping steadily for the last few decades.  Many girls get it later, which is fine and normal.  The recommendation is to see a health care provider at age 16 if you have not gotten your first period by then.

It depends on your body, no one knows for sure. If your mom got it at around that time then it might be possible. But like I said, no one knows for sure. Enjoy not having it yet. Average age around 11-15.

There is no definite time in which a girl will get her period, it has nothing to do with being 12 or 100 pounds. Your period will come when your body decides. It could be 11 or 12 or 13 etc. Most girls get their periods between 11 and 13. You should talk to your doctor if you are uncomfortable talking to your mom.But I think you should talk to your mom. That's what moms are for.

It's normally when you reach about 100 pounds, I got mine when I was 98 pounds, and if your unlucky like I am your stomach hurts the first day of every period since some people get cramps. Sometimes if you're athletic it will take longer since you're normally a little under-weight. But it's different for everyone.

It just depends on how your body goes?
Here are some question that might help.
How old are you?
Do you have discharge?
Have you been cranky?
How much do you weigh?
Are you feeling crappy and lazy?
P.s. I have mine and I'm turning twelve this year.
Most girls get theirs at the ages 11-13
if you don't have one by the time you 16-18 you should ask your mom or doctor
p.s. Trust me it sucks
I just reached about 100 lbs. So yea your proably around that size when you'll get yours
