EtG stands for Ethyl Glucuronide which is a metabolite of alcohol. This metabolite can be detected in the urine even after 5 days or 80 hours of use of alcohol. A positive EtG test means that alcohol was taken in last 5 days or 80 hours. This test can not tell about amount of alcohol taken.
