As someone who has studied both Eastern & Western medicine I can tell you this is perfect normal for only certain girls, particularly girls with a light flow, for their periods to stop at night. It's absolutely nothing to worry about, I myself have been experiencing this since the first time I had my period at 13, and now as a 25 year old nothing has changed.

Another benefit is you are much less likely to become anemic (this means your body doesn't have enough blood), since your less likely to lose too much blood every month (which is a common issue many girls have, especially if their flow is too heavy).

What do you do when you go to sleep? You lie down and this means that the blood can't flow down and out so it stops while you're in this position. Quite simple really and no need to go bothering your doctor with it.

You probably just have a really light period. Its not a big deal. Its probably not stopping just slowing down a lot.

During the day you are up and walking, and at night you are down and sleeping or resting.  I wouldn't  worry about it but if it bothers you talk to your Dr.

As far as I no this is normal because mine is very similar and sometimes only lasts two days! All women are different though so maybe the next time your in your doctors just mention it to him/her.
