How long should i wait to smoke after getting a filling?

I work in a dental office.  You can eat, drink, smoke, and do whatever you want after getting a filling.

Unless you are getting a silver filling.  You do need to wait a while for the filling to set.
Silver fillings are mostly a thing of the past now.

White composite fillings are bonded to the tooth structure and silver fillings are just packed into your tooth.

In my opinion composite fillings are much much better.
