Well I am also 4 months pregnant and I gained 9 lbs. My stomach is pretty noticeable, but this is also my 2nd child. With my first you could barely tell until I was like 5 months.

I found out a few weeks ago that I was pregnant.I am now 4months and I am not showing at all.. People say I should be showing, but really I shouldnt be. It all depends on  how big you r. I was only 135 lbs at the height of 5'5. Good luck to you n b grateful you will b only big n huge for a lil while....lol

I am also around 4 month, more like 3 1/2 and I feel like I can't tell at all.  This is my first baby, so judging from others comments, I guess thats normal to not really be showing yet.  I just hope everything is ok!  Good luck to all the mommies to  be =)

I am 15 1/2 weeks and I have a pretty big belly.  It is starting to harden from the top and not the bottom like a lot of people, I guess it all depends.  I lost around 5-10 pounds in the first couple of months.  I actually thought I was 12 weeks and just showing early but when I went to the doctor this week for the baby's down syndrome test, the nurse said they couldn't complete the test because I was further along then they thought.  That is when I found out I was almost 4 months....I guess that is why I was so big...

I am 4 mos. Pregnant with my third child and I look about 6 mos. I think that the more children you have they earlier you show. Also, height and weight could effect your belly size. I would say the shorter you are, the faster you will show since there is no where for anything to go except for out. So to answer your question, I would say, look at your stomach. Thats how big it should be. As long as your doctor says you are healthy.

I'm 4 1/2 months pregnant and I look 6 months. This is my 2nd child so I guess that plays a factor as well. I'm always really sick so I eat a lot of bread. Ive gained 25 pounds already. I hope to lose some in a healthy way. Good luck to you all.

Well, for me, this is my 2nd child, I'm 16 weeks pregnant and look like 6 months!! I have not gained a single pound but all of my clothes are too small. I am 5'0 and quite overweight.  I cried today bc the shorts I fit into a week ago are too small!! I'm quite distrought but know it is all for a sweet lil one inside. In my opinion it all depends on how many kids you have (the more you have the more stretched out you already are), and your build, age, weight etc. Don't fret, everyone is different!!!

It varies for every woman you should start to gain approximately 2-3 pounds a month. This means you should have gained close somewhere close to 8-12 lbs. Your stomach should be quite noticeable.

I think it depends on how you are built. I am short and I have a belly. I have gained 10 pounds and this is my first.

I am 42 and my kids are 23 and 17. My 17 yr old is pregnant (21 weeks) and I am 14 weeks. I have not told anyone. My husband and I are going through a divorce because he doesnt want any responsibility now that kids are grown. I am not telling him until I have the baby and will not expect him to be apart of it since its my decision to keep it. I do not show at all. I have had very few symptoms so I have been able to hide it. I want my daughter to enjoy her pregnancy and the attention. I hope not to show at all until  my daughter gives birth.
