When you go for the urine test, assuming they do not witness the collection, they will test the temp, it must be between 90 and 100 degrees or it will be rejected. If the temp falls within guidelines, it will then be tested. Some testing sites send the specimens by courier to another lab. The tech's first check to make sure the seal on your cup has not been tampered with. IF you have consumed large amounts of water, your specimen will appear very pale, "diluted". This may result in rejection of your drop and you will only be asked to drop again, which may raise eyebrows and put you under the scope even further. Abstain and get it clean the first time so as they leave you alone. Also, pale urine can be a result of bleach or other additives. Lab techs are trained to perform tests which will confirm this or not. Altered specimens typically result as positive or "dirty". Over the counter cleansers from General Nutrition Center, High Times Magazine, etc are not a good idea. Don't waste your money, the labs also have tests to look for the primary ingredients of these "solutions".

One last thing, from what I have gathered on the subject of EtG or ethanol urine testing in general, positive results cannot be held up in court. GOOGLE, GOOGLE, GOOGLE!

The only suggestion is lots of water and be sure to go to bathroom 1st thing in morning day of test and then drink more water and go again before testing.

Do not take any kinds of cleansers, they show up in the test results. If you have been smoking weed that takes close to 2-3 months to totally get out of your system.
