Can You Get High From Vyvanse?

Vyvance is a dexamphetamine so technically you can get high from it, but doing so is very hard. Also, being a relatively new drug, not much information can be found on how to do it.<br><br>Taking 20-60mg orally has been said to cause very mild highs or euphoric feelings. The feelings are often described as "teasing" because of it's mild effect. The emotional effect, however, is very, very strong. People have reported increased levels of happiness, motivation, and concentration. It is said that it causes higher social activity (self-esteem increase, urge to talk or socialize) and higher energy levels.<br><br>Amphetamines can be abused, so parents would be concerned giving it to young children. They combated this by changing the "amph" to "amf" making the name "amfetamine" so parents don't associate it with "amphetamine". The dexamfetamine is surrounded with an amino acid coating called L-lysine. "Lis" is now added in front of the chemical name making the final product: Lisdexamfetamine (Vyvanse).<br><br>In terms of getting high...<br>Popping: L-lysine breaks down slowly over time giving it a time-release attribute. The time-release only allows the drug  to metabolize at a slow steady rate. This makes just popping the pill ineffective in terms of abuse. However, high doses can still cause over dose symptoms. (Not the good ones for example:muscle pain, coma, death)<br><br>Blowing: L-lysine can only be dissolved in pancreas acid (Trypsin). If you blow it, it wont reach your stomach acid, and there for will cause no effect. The L-lysine coating will block it from entering your system unless it's in the stomach.<br><br>Injecting: The same Chemistry  applies. Viens have no stomach acid, so the harm of injection will prevail, but no effect or high can be felt even when shooting up<br><br>Plugging: Once again, no stomach acid, no high.<br><br>Parachuting: This may possibly increase the effect by giving the pill less surface area allowing for a faster metabolic rate, however I do not know the effectiveness. I would imagine it wont do much because it is even suggested to be broken and added to food for kids who can't swallow pills.<br><br>So what can one do to get high?<br>Option A, Take the Vyvanse orally along with antacids like tums, baking soda, or milk of magnesia (in theory) can increase the effect by changing the pH balance of your stomach contents<br>Option B, Figure out how to hydrolyze (dissolve) the L-lysine coating to expose the dexamfetamine. This process is complicated and not very well documented because of how new this drug is.

You can't. Thats the whole point of vyvanse. Its basically adderall but they made it wayyy harder to abuse. Meaning you can't get a high off of snorting or injecting it. You can get a high by taking higher doses but adderall in my mind is way better

Its BA is best absorbed in the GI tract. Snorting, plugging, IV, IM wield no recreational benefit. However taking large doses by eating will yield a nice euphoric high. But don't overdo it and know thy own tolerance to uppers. Compared to adderall it can give a nice high if swallowed. Start low and work your way from there.

Depends on your weight. Anywhere from 90 to 220 should do the trick. But start low. Two much can be unpleasant for someone with no tolerance. Have fun:)
