Can Meprate Cause Periods To Come If Someone Is Pregnant ?

Meprate contains medroxyprogesterone which is protesting and is used to treat cycle irregularities. As it  work like progesterone, you will not get periods if you used during pregnancy rather it will strengthen the pregnancy. But its use in pregnancy is not allowed because it has bad effects on baby. You got your periods due to Meprate. If you would have been pregnant then this drug can not induce periods are abortion.

I have bilateral poli cystic ovaries  this month I had got iui done and after  that I got my periods 9 days late.when I went for follicle monitoring the study showed endometrium thickness as 6.0 on day 2 and also on day 3 my gayane has now advised me to take ma perate 10mg twice a day for 20 days. I wish to know why is my endometrium soooo thick,and is teir a possibility of pregnancy by any chance??? Because this delay of periods has happened for the 1st time ever and endometrium thickness is also 1st time this high otherwise normally it is 3.0mm/4.0 on day 2
