If you are referring to how much you grow in terms of height following getting your first period, this cannot be specified as it is different for all girls. Some girls grow really tall in their teens, whereas, some barely grow at all and stay at that height all of their lives. There are, however, many different changes that will occur to you on the beginning of your period and around this time, such as:

• You will notice that you prefer staying in bed much later in the mornings than you used to. This is because your body starts producing more of a hormone called melatonin which makes you want to sleep for longer. Where you used to be able to leap out of bed in the morning beforehand, unfortunately you've now hit your terrible teens and will begin living in your pit.
• Your breasts should have already started changing by the beginning of your periods, especially with changes around the nipple. They will continue to grow as you go through puberty and will sometimes hurt around the time of your future periods, so look forward to that!
• You will also notice that you are growing more hair than beforehand, in places where it never grew before. You will get pubic hair and your underarm hair will begin to grow more frequently, so you may wish to start shaving. If you are not careful with your personal hygiene, pubic hair may lead you to start smelling due to sweat.
• Speaking of sweat, you will start to perspire more too, which isn't great. Just make sure that you buy a good deodorant and use it before you leave the house in the morning.

It may seem pretty scary right now, with all this talk of bodily changes and periods, but you'll be fine. Every woman goes through it!

People say you can grow but all I'm telling you is to exercise and eat a healthy meal and drink lots of milk so this way you grow your bones and you may grow tall it depends on your body and weight

Having your period does not affect how you grow. Most people stop growing when they are 18. Or around that age

Having your period has nothing to do with how much you will grow. Its up to your genes and your age, most teenagers stop growing around 15-18.

You will probably keep on growing because my aunt told me that I'm not going to keep growing and I'm still growin so I believe that you will keep growing until about 18 years old or somewhere around there

Well everyones different. Most likely you will only grow a little more like 2 to 4 inches depending on who you are. You will probably stop 1 or 2 years after you get your period because of hormones because then you will officially be a woman. Thats just what research has told me though so hope it helps. :D

I'm 13 I got my period on new years eve and I'm 4"11 or around 150cm I'm one of the shortest girls in my yr and its so annoying! I want to grow about 15cm  but I'm  taller than my mum by about 3cm and my dad is around 10cm/15cm taller than me. So I guess imma be short :( I think I grew about 2 inches after I got my period.

You never stop growing just like your skin never stops shedding dead or damaged skin cells and creating new ones. The body is an amazing vessel that is alive, it never stops regenerating, healing itself, growing etc.

I am now 16 but I started at 11, my height was 5 foot 2. I am now 5 foot 8 so I have grown 6 inches. My friend, who started at the same height and age as me, grew 3 inches so everyone is different.

It depends. I've known a family member who is 148cm. My sister is 165cm. Some people say that late periods let you grow taller. But some people grow 12-15cm after their first period, others grow 2-4cm. This is truly unpredictable...
