I find it easiest to think of it like this, every 3500 kcal is 1lb so by creating a deficit of this amount in your diet you will lose a pound.
Hope that helps!
The amount of weight you lose for not eating for 2 full weeks would depend on how much you currently weigh.
If
you feel into the "obese category" instead of just "overweight" you'd
be able to lose more weight as you'd be more easily able to create a
large caloric deficit from not eating...
Why? Because...
Your body requires a certain amount of calories to maintain it's current weight (body weight in lbs x 15)...so if you were 150 pounds, that would be 150x15 = 2,250 calories/day.
To lose 1 pound you need to be in a deficit of 3,500 calories. So if
you ate 500 calories less than this 2,250 each day (1,750 cals/day) you would lose 1 pound each week.
Couple this with another 3-5 pounds of water weight and you'd have 12-14 pounds lost for someone who is 150 pounds.
Of course this is absolutely NOT healthy and could result in some serious health issues ... Or worse.
If you're going to diet down, don't cut your calories lower than 1,200/day as a woman and 1,500/day as a man.
If you need any more help/info, this explains things in detail.
Yea, you can lose that 15 pounds by starving your self, but after that, when you start eating again, every pound you're eating will be stored as fat, since your body is in starvation more, so ended up you'll be fatter than before you started fasting... So, not a good idea!!! If you wants to calculate your weight on daily basis you can use this Weight Loss Calculator,it shows the appropriate results.
Good Luck anyway!!!
