Tubal ligation is one of the common and most reliable methods of contraception with minimum chances of pregnancy. Chances of pregnancy after this procedure depends upon accuracy of the procedure and time passed after the procedure. Sometimes, if the procedure is inadequate then pregnancy is possible. After many years of procedure, there are chances that clamps become loose allowing sperms to escape to cause pregnancy. In either case, pregnancy during tubal ligation is ectopic and terminated by inducing abortion.
