You can go to your gyn an ask what kind of procedure were done if it was not burn they may have use an clamp.but after you get reversed please ask for an dye test to see if your tubes are open enough to get pregnant
We hear this question quite often. Our fertility doctors recommend IVF treatments, if you have your tubes tied and are considering getting pregnant. Getting pregnant a traditional way after reversing tied tubes may be a dangerous endeavor.
First, MedVacation’s fertility doctors say that reversing tide tubes is typically not an effective procedure. Moreover, even if the reversing tied tubes procedure is performed, the probability of having tubal pregnancy (situation when the fertilized egg implants itself outside uterus) is very high for that person. That is the reason why OBGYN's and RE's recommend to have IVF in cases like this one.
In short, because of high chances of having ectopic pregnancy, we advise women with tied tubes to consider IVF rather having them reversed. With IVF, your doctor would perform ovulation induction and egg retrieval without reversing tied tubes for the patient.

Well no I thought the whole reason for having that done is so as not to have children am I wrong in believing that???
Once your tubes are tied (there are several variations of tubal ligation, one is cauterizing the two ends of the cut tube, another is placement of a band around the tube, another is a loop in the tube that a plastic ring is then inserted over the loop, there is also one where the tube is cut and tied off at each end. Etc.)...you can't get pregnant unless you have them "un-tied". I'm sure some of these can be undone depending on which tubal ligation you had performed with the marvels in medicine today. Good luck!! Of course it is possible to reverse tubal ligation. Over 70% women become pregnant after tubal reversal ligation. Source: www.stumpedia.com
