Yes it can be implantation I am pregnant with my second child and I have been bleeding for 9 days now, it started out like a period and now its just spotting here and there, but they cheaked my hcg levels twice to rule out misscarage or other problems, my hcg levels were great, some people can have bleed troughout there pregnancy doc don't have an underline cause but everyone is not the same, there can be many reasons for the bleed, some bad things and some normal. But I'm not here to say everything is fine, because either way you need to see your health care providor, but implantation can cause extensive bleeding for long periods or time, can act just like a period thats why you should always be sure.

I started bleeding 3 days before my period was supposed to start.  But it was just a small amount.  It was a dark brownish color.  I kept bleeding everyday till the day my period should have started.  I kept bleeding, but it got a little heavier, not much though.  All I need is a small panty liner and I'm good for the day.  As the days go on it gets darker and darker.  Now its almost a black in my panty liner, but a darker brown when I wipe.  Its been bleeding for 8 days now, tomorrow will be the 9th day and I'm not showing any sign of it stopping anytime soon.  Could this be implantation bleeding?  Is it to soon to take a home pregancy test?

A doc told me implantation bleeding can last several days and sometimes a week. Every woman is different. I had what looked like implantation bleeding for 8 days and I tested today and I think it was positive, but I'm not sure so I'm going to wait a couple of days and test again on thurs. Which is the 10th. I have an appointment all sent up in july so I will definitely know for sure then.  So good luck!!

Hello, I have been having this bleeding for about nine days now and went to the doctor and they couldnt see me until two weeks. Its driving me crazy not knowing whats going on with my body. It started out as brown discharge then the next day it was enough blood to fill a light tampon. No cramps or pain which is so strange for me as to when I am having my period I am doubled over in pain. The day after it was light just when I wiped. Brown in color then it went to pink. The next day it was bright red when I wiped. I used a panty liner and it did not get on it until today. I have a mild cramp that isn't bothering me I just know that its there. I did have sex then this started. We are not rough or anything weird. My fiance is worried and wants to know whats going on with me. Yes I am on birth controll but I miss a few here and there. But I don t think that is what this is from. Please help me. Oh and I have taken two hpt and they were both negative.

I bleed for three days and was pregnant but I herd people can bleed for 2-4 days. Spotting or a light flow. I had a light flow but it wasn't heavy and due in September of 09 year. I think you had not so normal bleeding and should be check out. Hope that helps.

You should know that very few ladies can have implantation bleeding. This bleeding occurs when fertilized egg is implanted in the uterus. After conception it takes 8-10 days for fertilized egg to implant. So, implantation bleeding occurs at least one weak before expected date of periods. This bleeding is always in the form of few drops and last for not more than one day.

So, if you are having bleeding or spotting for 9 days then it is not an implantation bleeding. If so, then visit a doctor for diagnosis of your problem and proper treatment.

It CAN be implantation bleeding. I was just at the dr. With the same issue. No, I wasn't pregnant. But she DID say I could be, and made me take a test before we did anything else.
