In the United States, abortion laws differ in different areas of the country, mainly on a state-to-state basis. Generally, abortion is legal under certain circumstances up until a milestone of approximately 24 weeks into a pregnancy. If the bearer of the unborn fetus is less than one month gone in their pregnancy journey, an abortion pill may be administered should their doctor and pharmacist agree that this is the best course of action to take. There are more than just one or two types of pill used in this sort of situation, but the most common ones are Mifepristone and Misoprostol.

Both of the above stated medications are used to terminate pregnancies at an early stage in order to avoid the need for a surgical abortion. However, they cannot legally or safely be taken without prior recommendation and authorization from a medically-trained doctor with the power to prescribe such tablets. Under no circumstances should such drugs be taken without a prescription, especially those sold on the black market, which could potentially be fatal to the taker.

The tablets used to terminate pregnancies work by blocking the female sex hormone that's necessary to promote the development of a fetus. Consequently, the lining of the uterus softens and shreds, which can cause bleeding as the fetus is dispelled from the uterus and out of the vagina. The pills used for this course of treatment are said to be 95% effective, according to investigations carried out by the World Health Organization.

Any patient who is deemed acceptable to have a pregnancy aborted via this course of action will need to progress through a sequence of health checks before they are allowed to do so. Those with heart conditions or blood problems could be at an increased risk as a result of using Mifepristone or Misoprostol, and so it is important for the doctor administering the drug/s to carry out routine examinations prior to treatment being given.

That's what our world has come to, to much unwanted pregnancy. Ms I don't know you but if you feel you want to abort a baby go right ahead. I have done it before. Sometimes before people comment they need to take time and sit and think. Baby is not abort more people getting tax payers money (food stamps, medical assistance etc). And not all babies are likely to be aborted and research has shown those who are not suffers at lot through their lives. Which creates more criminals and once again more dependents on the government. My last abortion I got three pills from the doctor. I drank two and stick one up my vagina. Within and hour I was bleeding, heavy bleeding for bout 6-8 hours then normal bleeding like a regular period. Go to the clinic and get these pills there better than having a vacuum abortion for I have been through that procedure too.

There is one medicine that has active ingredient called misoprostol can be used to induce abortion. As this is a prescription medicine, you should discuss about its use with your doctor/.

Oh god honey I hope you are not alone right now. Did the Dr give you this pill? Please think about what you are doing and make sure deep in your heart this is what you want to do or need to do. There are so many other options out there right now, especially those people who want babies and will give them a good home. Be good to yourself and tell yourself the truth.
