Jesus people are so bad in here. Don't scare the girl. The intensity of your sexual intercourse does not affect your period cycles. It might be possible to get your period early, and persist for a prolonged period of time, because you might be taking a low dose birth control pill. Because of the low dosage, it is not able to hold the uterine lining in place for so long, therefore causing it to come early (your period). You need to verify with your doctor that this birth control pill is the right one for you. Do not worry, you're not pregnant, nor is anything wrong. You're body is reacting, it's rather healthy giving the fact you're taking pills ;)

Seriously don't scare the girl,
Okay I started the pill about 4 months ago, and for one, sex does cause hormones, which can make your period come , but see the pill is to stop the egg from relasing, I was told to not have "unprotected" sex for at least 2 months after started taking the pill, due to it working in your body. Don't worry, you are just sca rying your self because, if you have sex it may have caused your period to come, but ehh, your pill probally started kicking in, and since you had sex probally made you bleed longer time. Its happened to me, don't worry. This may be a late response, but to anyone out there, now you will no.

I have the same problem. I just started taking the pills though so I assume it is only my body trying to regulate, atleast thats what my doctor told me. However a lot of people have this problem. They say its from stress, I think that having sex like that can cause hormone levels to fluctuate god I can't spell..But I think sex causes hormones right? So perhaps it over powered the pill or stressed you out? If stress can cause periods on the pill why can't sex? If it worries you a lot, then talk to your obgyn. I think it's fine and you should just continue on the pills. Also though, you might want to take a pregnancy test just to be sure because several times that I heard about this, the girl was pregnant. Good luck
