Firstly you should place one sanitary pad on the inside of your underwear....secondly you should place one on your forehead for an hour or so if you are in a private space eg.bedroom... Don't ask why or how this works but it does!! Its an ancient remedie,, it eases the blood flow

I always found pads to be a lot easier to put on then tampons. The pads you just take out of the wrapper and remove the little pieces of paper from it...once the paper is removed it should be sticky. On the sticky side you stick it flat out inside of your underwear in the crotch area and then boom its on. Its even better when the pads have the butterfly wings on the sides...then you use that part to wrap underneath the underwear. Then the pad holds better. It also says it on the back of the box (I think) the directions on using a pad and/or tampon. The tampon you kind of have to just shove up there.(The directions on the box will probably help you a lot more then the explanation I just gave.)
