I know a girl who did a diet similar to Slim Fast, it was called something else but tasted just like it to me.  She did it for 2 months and lost about 30 pounds.  When she started eating again she started with soft foods for a week then gradually went to different foods.  She keeps it off by eating cereal for breakfast, a "slim fast drink" for lunch and eating a regular dinner

Drinking nothing but slim fast shakes is not going to be healthy in the long term... You will not be getting the vitamins/nutrients you would otherwise from whole foods.

As far as how much weight you'd lose, it depends on how many you drink each day...you see...

Your body requires a certain amount of calories to maintain it's current
weight (body weight in lbs x 15)...so if you were 150 pounds, that would be
150x15 = 2,250 calories/day.

To lose 1 pound you need to be in a deficit of 3,500 calories.  So if
you ate 500 calories less than this 2,250 each day (1,750 cals/day) you would
lose 1 pound each week.

Now 1 of these slim fast shakes is about 180 calories...so if you drank lets say, 7 of them a day, that would be 1,260 calories (by the way, 1,200 calories/day should be your lower limit when cutting).

If your maintenance was 2,250... 2,250 - 1,260 = 990 calorie deficit.

It would take you 4 days to lose 1 pound if you did this at a weight of 150 pounds.

Of course you could lose more if you incorporated cardio (1 hour of cardio burns about 500 calories).

But again, instead of drinking your calories, you should be eating them.  Drinking your calories does not provide the same level of satiety as eating them....just focus on filling up on veggies/lean meats.

A proper diet/exercise program is critical for long term weight loss.

Just drinking slim fast shakes will not get you anywhere but still hungry. The diet relies on hunger suppression and starving yourself. You'll lose weight pretty quickly, but once you start eating real food, you'll gain every ounce back. If you wants to calculate your weight on daily basis you can use this Weight Loss Calculator,it shows the appropriate results.

I lost 22 pounds (10 kilos) in 4 months - I was 176 and now i'm 154. I am 21 years old and i'm 5'11. I am saying this because I want you to have realistic expectations. So not to disapoint you later, i will tell you right away that losing 10 pounds a month is incredibly hard and almost impossible as well as bad for your health (i know you want to lose weight at all cost and don't care much about your health, but i hope you never know how serious a health problem can be...).

How to lose weight? I will tell you: Start jogging everyday 6 days a week, get some cardio vascular exercises. First day - run for 5 minutes, 10 on the next, keep it on 15 for three days then add some time. In three weeks begin to jog for 30 minutes everyday. Listen the only effective and quick way to lose weight are not pills, or fat burners, or stupid bowel cleansers... People want to sell you those to make profit.. They will drop your weight but only water weight... Never fat.. They will never burn your fat. So if you want to lose weight, work for it!

Drink 8 glasses of cold water everyday unless its winter... Keep the water at room temperature. If you're on a diet... Stick to it! Or else you will remain a fat *** all your life... I am sure you do not want that. Do not eat sugar! That thing is crap! No more sodas... No more white bread.. No more pastas! Eat a lot of vegetables, fruits, nothing fried! NO FAST FOOD AT ALL!!
